What is MidiVPN?
MidiVPN is a sovereign VPN infrastructure provider. Unlike shared VPN services, every MidiVPN product gives you a dedicated private node — hardware or cloud — that belongs entirely to you. No shared servers, no shared bandwidth, no Man-in-the-Middle.
Who is MidiVPN for?
MidiVPN is for remote workers, expats, digital nomads, and businesses that need genuine privacy — not a shared tunnel managed by a company they have to trust blindly.
What makes MidiVPN different from NordVPN or ExpressVPN?
Shared VPN providers route your traffic through servers used by thousands of other users. You are trusting their infrastructure and their no-log claims. MidiVPN gives you your own private node — hardware you control, an IP that belongs to you, and code you can verify on GitHub.
Is MidiVPN open source?
Yes — entirely. WireGuard® for the VPN tunnel, OpenWrt for router firmware, GNU/Linux for servers. We add no proprietary layers. Every component is auditable on GitHub.
Technical
What protocol does MidiVPN use?
WireGuard® exclusively. It delivers up to 300 Mbps throughput with ChaCha20-Poly1305 encryption — faster, leaner, and more auditable than OpenVPN or IPSec.
Do I need to install an app?
Hardware products (VPN Box, Home VPN, Office VPN) are router-based — all your devices connect automatically with no app needed. For software access, we use the official unmodified WireGuard® client.
How many devices can I connect?
Hardware products cover unlimited devices on your local network. Office VPN supports up to 50 simultaneous employees. Cloud VPN scales to your needs.
Privacy & Security
Does MidiVPN keep logs?
No — by design. Because you own the infrastructure, your traffic never passes through our servers. There is nothing for us to log. This is structural, not a policy claim.
Is MidiVPN GDPR compliant?
Yes. MidiVPN is a French company registered in Greater Paris, fully subject to GDPR. We collect the minimum data necessary for account management and never sell it to third parties.
What happens to my data if I delete my account?
Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days of your deletion request.
Billing & Plans
Are payments one-time or recurring?
Hardware products (VPN Box, Home VPN, Office VPN) are one-time payments — you own the infrastructure. Dedicated Cloud VPN is an annual subscription. The Free VPN is always free.
What is your refund policy?
Hardware products are eligible for a full refund within 14 days if returned unused and in original condition. Annual subscriptions can be cancelled at any time; unused months are refunded on a pro-rata basis.
